Bio

Prof. Dr. Ketaki Kulkarni is an esteemed Assistant Professor in the School of Civil Engineering at MIT WPU, Pune. She graduated from Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad in Civil Engineering in the year 2003, and then completed her M.E in Civil-Water Resources Engineering from Government Engineering College, Aurangabad in 2005. She was selected for a research fellowship in Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and was a research associate there until 2007. Prof. Dr. Kulkarni has been associated with MIT since 2007 and has taught a variety of subjects like Basic Civil and Environmental Engineering, Fluid Mechanics I, II, Momentum Transfer, Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering, Dams and Hydraulic Structures. She earned her doctorate in Civil Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, specializing in Hydraulic Engineering under the guidance of Dr. G. A. Hinge. She has published approximately 4 international journals and 8 international conference papers, including a BEST PAPER AWARD. She is a life member of the Indian Society of Hydraulics (ISH) and the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE). She is also serving on the editorial board of LARHYSS journal, which is a Scopus-indexed international journal. Additionally, she is a reviewer for Water Science and Technology - Water Supply, a SCIE/WOS journal rated in the Q2 journal category.
