FAQ's

The B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering syllabus is designed to incorporate more core subjects that are indispensable in order to develop the foundations of computer science. In addition, essential topics are mentioned such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, software engineering, computer networks, database management systems and artificial intelligence. Moreover, niche courses like cyber security, data science, machine learning and blockchain prepare you for the changing dynamics of technologies that are revolutionising the industry.

Yes, coding is an integral part of BTech CSE course. The driving purpose of the curriculum is on hands-on programming — with classes in Python, C ++, Java and JavaScript. You will not just learn how to code, but also how to develop software applications, build algorithms and solve complex problems with modern programming languages. Each of those areas includes practical hands-on exercises, coding projects and lab work to help you build and hone the programming skills necessary for application development.

CSE has a broader scope as compared to IT resulting in the difference between B.Tech Course CSE vs B.Tech IT. It extensively covers the foundations of Computer Science like programming, software development, data structures, algorithms, artificial intelligence and machine learning. It helps you land roles such as software development, data science and AI engineering. Whereas, B.Tech IT deals with IT infrastructure, Administration of the systems and Business Management. Both have good job opportunities but if you want to become a software developer, artificial intelligence, data analyst, etc then choose B.Tech CSE.

Phil and PhD in numerous fields There are numerous career choices for B.Tech CSE graduates in a large number of fields. Available roles in this area are Software Developer, Data Scientist, AI/ML Engineer, Cyber Security Analyst or Full Stack Developer. Other jobs you can do include network administrator, cloud computing, systems engineer, and game developer. The programme equips you with skills in demand in the fields of blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and big data analytics, all of which are fast-growing sectors.
