M.Pharm Pharmaceutics
Pharmaceutics, a discipline within pharmacy, is dedicated for formulating stable, safe, effective, and patient-compliant drug formulations, particularly for new chemical entities (NCEs). The Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics is a highly sought-after course that hones students’ skills in designing and formulating dosages through hands-on labs. This specialisation encompasses a diverse range of topics, including formulation, evaluation, and advancements in novel drug delivery systems, pre-formulation studies, stability testing, sterilisation processes, packaging of dosage forms, industrial management, and adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP). The curriculum further delves into emerging areas such as the design and synthesis of nanocarriers, synthesis of cell-competent substrates, cell drug delivery, and more. M.Pharm Pharmaceutics
Passed Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from any All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved institution with minimum 60% aggregate score (at least 50% marks in case Reserved Class category and persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
The Candidates should have registered with the State Pharmacy Council. The candidates not having registration should produce the registration certificate within one month after securing admission. Obtained valid score in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2022, 2023 or 2024 (GPAT) conducted by National Testing Agency. For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
Selection process is based on GPAT 2022/2023/2024 score and MIT-WPU CET PI score.
