MIT-WPU’s BA Government and Administration (BAGA) is a multidisciplinary programme designed to prepare students for careers in government, public administration, and public policy. As public-private partnerships continue to shape the future of governance, this dynamic programme responds to the increasing need for professionals equipped to tackle today’s complex societal challenges.
By combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, you will develop the skills needed to address real-world policy and governance issues. Whether you wish to pursue a career in government, NGOs, consultancy, or public relations, the programme offers specialised tracks in Policy and Business, helping you determine the path that best suits your aspirations.
The BAGA programme provides a comprehensive learning experience, covering subjects such as Public Policy, Governance Theory, Public Finance, and International Relations. Internships, case studies, and fieldwork offer hands-on experience in solving real-world challenges.
In line with NEP 2020 standards, the curriculum also prepares students for competitive exams, including the UPSC Civil Services exam. Guest lectures, workshops, and seminars led by industry experts and government officials provide insights into real-world governance. This programme not only equips you with a valuable degree but also prepares you to become an industry-ready specialist in the rapidly evolving field of policy delivery.

Note: Student will have to qualify both the criteria i.e. 10th Aggregate Score and 12th Aggregate Score for availing the scholarship.
Terms & Conditions Apply:
- All Scholarships are awarded on a First Come First Serve basis. All Scholarships are awarded as fee adjustments.
- To continue the scholarship for the entire duration of the programme, a minimum level of the academic score has to be maintained at an 8 CGPA across all semesters, attendance is to be maintained at a minimum of 80 percent, with no live backlogs in any subject/programme and no semester break, and there should be no disciplinary action against the student.

Eligibility
Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Class 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent examination in any stream with English subject (Minimum 45% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to the Reserved Category from Maharashtra State).

Minimum 50% aggregate marks in any 3 years Engineering Diploma from State Government approved Institution/ board
Selection Process
Admission will be based on the Statement of Purpose (SoP), followed by Personal Interaction (PI) score of the MIT-WPU CET 2026
