International Scholarships

A merit-based scholarship is an award given to high performing students. It is based entirely on their merit in academics

- 50% Scholarship on Programme Fee
50% Scholarship applicable to CIWGC, CIWSEA, OCI & FN categories ( Not applicable for NRI category )- Eligibility is 10th/12th/Graduation with minimum 50% marks - 100% Scholarship on Programme Fee
- A total of 50 students under the Foreign National category will be eligible for 100% scholarships, with no more than one recipient per program or specialization.
- The 100% scholarship will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to eligibility verification and an interview.
- To qualify for the 100% scholarship, students must achieve at least 80% in both 10th and 12th grades (or equivalent) and 75% in bachelors (or equivalent).
- 50% Scholarship on Programme Fee
Criteria for continued Scholarship Year on Year:
- Academic Performance: To retain the 100% scholarship, students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 6, have no live backlogs
- Attendance: The student must maintain a minimum attendance of 80% per semester after catering for all exigencies including illness, sports, and any other requirements.
- Discipline: The student must maintain good conduct, behavior, and discipline as per the Code of Conduct of the University. For any violations of the University Code of Conduct, the student will be issued a written warning/memo leading to forfeiting of the scholarship immediately for ongoing as well as the subsequent years.
Note: MIT-WPU reserves the right to amend the provisions of the scholarships without notification & as deemed fit / appropriate due to any changed circumstances

Documents required for Foreign National Students admissions at MIT-WPU
- 10th /12th or equivalent Grade Marksheet, Bachelor’s degree (1st, 2nd & 3rd year) Marksheets – Originals with photocopies
- Passport (First and last page copy)

- Change of course copy (if applicable)
- Equivalence from AIU, New Delhi (INDIA) (if applicable)

Instructions
- All original documents have to be uploaded
- All documents need to be translated into English
- It is mandatory that the mark sheet is attested by Ministry of Education or Indian Embassy in your country or your Country Mission, i.e. your Embassy or Consulate in India.
- It is mandatory for all students to produce all the same documents in original at the time of Firm Admission submission, as have been uploaded at the time of filling the form.
Documents required for Children of Indians working in Gulf/South East Asia /NRI students admission at MIT-WPU. (All documents must be valid for next six months.)
Documents of Sponsoring Parent
- Passport and Visa of sponsoring parent – i) original & copy or ii) In case sponsoring parent is not accompanying the student the copy of passport & visa should be attested by Indian Embassy and original attestation submitted.
- NRI Certificate of sponsoring parent from Indian Embassy – original
- Work Permit – Country ID 1 copy
- Letter of employment from employer on Company letter head – original
- Residence Permit – Visa page copy
- Residence (Address) Proof – original name and address in English on Electricity bill/ Water bill/Telephone bill/Bank statement/Company letter.
- Six-month Bank Statement from an NRI Account or a foreign bank on bank letterhead, with bank stamp- original
- Sponsorship Letter from the Sponsor parent – original
Student’s Documents
- Marksheet – original + Xerox copy (no attestations or computer printouts) (In case marksheet is from a Foreign University, AIU Equivalence Certificate is mandatory)
- School Passing Certificate – original + Xerox copy
- Birth Certificate – original + Xerox copy
- Student’s Passport – original + Xerox copy(if student possesses a passport)
- Migration Certificate – original
- Passport size photo (05 in no.)
- Gap Certificate (If applicable)
Documents required for OCI/PIO students admission at MITWPU, Pune
(All documents must be valid for next six months.)

- PIO/OCI Card – original + copy
- Marksheet – original + copy (no attestations or computer printout) / (In case marksheet is from a Foreign University, AIU Equivalence Certificate is mandatory)
