Programme Overview
MA in Political Leadership and Government is a unique master's programme developed for future leaders in the domains of politics and governance. It was established with the goal of developing moral, passionate, and dedicated political leaders for the nation from all walks of life and at the grassroots level. The programme provides a thorough understanding of a number of facets, including international and public relations, media, NGO, political strategy, analysis, the election process, and functional politics. Two rigorous internships are offered as well for practical knowledge application. The programme also boasts a national and international study tour, as well as guest speakers who are fully engaged in the politics and administration of the nation.

Note: Student will have to qualify both the criteria i.e. Graduation Aggregate Score and 12th Aggregate Score for availing the scholarship.
Terms & Conditions Apply:
- All Scholarships are awarded on a First Come First Serve basis. All Scholarships are awarded as fee adjustments.
- To continue the scholarship for the entire duration of the programme, a minimum level of the academic score has to be maintained at an 8 CGPA across all semesters, attendance is to be maintained at a minimum of 80 percent and there should be no disciplinary action against the student.

Eligibility
Minimum 50% aggregate score in 3-year Graduation in any stream from UGC approved Institution or equivalent (at least 45% marks, in case of Reserved Class category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only.
Selection Process
The selection to the MPG Programme is based on a written descriptive test followed by a detailed Personal Interview.
Programme Highlights
- Political communication : Includes public relations, branding, social media management, advertising, and written and spoken communication.
- Constituency Management : Focuses on the development and effective management of constituencies for MPs, MLAs, corporators, Zilla Parishad, and Gram Panchayat members
- Campaign & Elections Management : Encompasses planning for various elections. Involves strategic campaign planning utilising media, research, data analysis, and psephology
- Hands-on Learning : Minimum 6-month internship with offices of political parties or political leaders
- Immersive Learning : National study tour to Delhi is organised to give first-hand exposure to meet policymakers, legislators, bureaucrats, institutions & media houses
