Bio

Dr. Zheer Ahmed has successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, specializing in the field of Environmental Narratives and Securitization debates in the West Asian region. He has completed his Master of Arts degree in ‘Politics’ with specialization in International Relations. He has successfully obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (Major) and Economics (Minor) from Ramjas College, affiliated with the University of Delhi. He has been disseminating scholarly articles and delivering presentations at both international and national conferences on topics such as International Security, India's West Asia Policy, Non-traditional Security threats, Water Security and Indian Politics. He has accumulated over six years of experience in instructing both undergraduate and post-graduate courses. His areas of interest encompass security studies, international politics, West Asian politics, Indian Foreign policy, political theory and Indian politics.
