Bio

Dr. Bishnu Prasad Mohapatra holds a post-graduate degree in Political Science and a Ph.D. in Development Studies, with a specialization in Political Science. With 20 years of experience in teaching and research in Political Science and related social science issues, he is presently an Assistant Professor in the School of Liberal Arts at MIT-World Peace University, Pune. Dr. Mohapatra is an expert in Democratic Governance, Decentralisation Policies, and Economic Development. He has received numerous fellowships, published 22 journal articles, one book, and seven chapters in edited books. He is associated with various academic institutions, NGOs, policy think-tanks, and journals as a researcher, teacher, advisor, and editorial board member.
