Dr. Siddharth Chakrabarti is a distinguished academic leader and he worked as Dean- SoE & Dean Academics at OP Jindal University (OPJU), supported by Jindal Steel & Power prior to joining MIT-WPU, Pune. Also, held key positions at GH Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur, Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus Bhilai, and Raipur Institute of Technology.

With a Ph.D. from the IIT- Kharagpur, and an M.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, supported by an MHRD scholarship and a research project at BHEL R&D Hyderabad, Dr. Siddharth brings a wealth of expertise to his roles. He has also completed his PG Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Hyderabad and the Senior Executive Leadership Program from XLRI Jamshedpur.

He has over 24 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic management, Dr. Siddharth has been instrumental in driving the growth of the previous organizations. He shared his expertise as a vital member of their Board of Management, industry-academia collaboration, and institutional innovation council (IIC) in different capacities. He has fostered collaborations that enhance research, internships, and industry-aligned programs. Dr.Siddharth's international exposure spans visits to the USA, China, Finland, France, and Thailand, enriching his global perspective and international collaborations for the organization.

Under his leadership, OPJU has been awarded NAAC accreditation A Grade in the first cycle itself, winner in the AICTE-CII Survey ranking 2021, Institution Innovation Council's highest star rating, ranking in the world green metric, highest placements, full implementation of NEP 2020 in all the Schools, ARIIA ranking and many others.

His expertise includes setting up Fab lab, skill centers, and exposure of World skill competitions, collaborations with the National Skill Development Council, TEQIP 1, TEQIP 2, executing hardware and software hackathons, and establishing more than 30 clubs in the University for the overall development of the students.

An accomplished researcher and author, he has over 60 publications in leading journals and conferences, four granted patents, and six published patents. His leadership and contributions have been recognized with awards, including the "Best Researcher Award" and "Excellent Teacher Award for outstanding contribution in Engineering and Allied" from The Institution of Engineers (India), Chhattisgarh. Additionally, he has mentored numerous B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. students, organized 5+ international conferences, 6+ industry Academia Conclaves, 25+ academic events.
