Bio
Sumedha Sirsikar is an Associate Professor at School of Computer Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune, MH-India. Her area of research includes Self-organized Wireless Sensor Networks, Computer Networks, Information and Network Security, Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things, She has over 33 years of experience in academic teaching and 20 years of research. She received Bachelors of Computer Science of Engineering from Govt.
College of Engineering, Aurangabad-India in 1992, ME Computer Engineering from Govt. College of Engineering, Pune University, India in 2001 and PhD from Amravati University-India in 2019. She is a fellow member of IET and IETE.
Handled projects that include Automated Robot using AI and ML for Healthcare, Network Security, and Cyber Physical Systems . She has published over 60 papers in reputed international conferences and journals. She has also published a book on Network Security and Fundamentals. She joined the MIT group of institutions in 1995. She has worked in other organizations like Amrutvahini College of Engineering, Sangamner and others.
