Bio
Dr. Satish A. Polshettiwar is a highly accomplished Asst. Professor and HOD of the Pharmaceutics Dept at the School of Health Sciences and Technology, Dr. Vishwanath Karad, MIT World Peace University in Pune, India. With over 18 years of teaching experience, Dr. Polshettiwar has been recognized for his excellence in the field, having been awarded the Ideal Teacher Award 2021 from the MIT Group of Institutions in Pune and the Prestigious ICT Educator Award 2020 from the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), New Delhi.
Dr. Polshettiwar is an active researcher who has presented numerous research papers at international and national conferences. He has also authored over 50 research and review articles in peer-reviewed, index-indexed journals, and written 4 textbooks on Pharm Microbiology, Pharmaceutical engineering, pharmacotherapeutics, and more. Additionally, he has contributed 4 book chapters to Elseviers Publication, been granted 2 international patents, one Indian design patent, and filed 08 Indian patents.
Dr. Polshettiwar is a life member of APTI and MSPC and has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Winner of Asia Continent Samarashta Award 2019, the Shikshan Shree Award, Best Innovative Teacher Award, राज्यस्तरीय गुणवंत शिक्षक गुरुगौरव शिक्षकरत्न पुरस्कार २०२०, Global Excellent Award 2021 by KomTV and World Arya Vaishya Community, among many others. Dr. Polshettiwar's current focus is on the valorization of biomass through chemical and biological routes.
