Bio

Prof. Raja Bavani has more than 30 years’ experience in IT industry. Over the past decade he took a keen interest in scaling client engagements and fast tracking the digital journey of CXOs. He has deep experience in leading and transforming software delivery by enhancing team performance through capability building, engineering rigor and process maturity to deliver tangible business outcomes and customer value.

Through his industry experience and passion for continuous learning he gained expertise in engineering solutions for global clients across industry segments including BFS, MFG, HealthCare, and ISV with an annual revenue target of 200+ Million USD.

Prof. Raja Bavani spent his three initial years in full-time teaching at the Department of Computer Science, Madura College, Madurai, before joining National Informatics Center (Govt. of India), Pune. Later, he was associated with some of the well-known Indian and Global IT services firms such as Xoriant, Patni Computer Systems, Mindtree and Cognizant Technology Solutions. He has been a visiting faculty at CDAC Advanced Computer Training School (ACTS) delivering lectures on Software Development Management, Agile Software Development, and Software Testing to the students of PGDAC.

His areas of interest include, Modern Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Project/Program Management, Software Estimation & Cost Management, Agile Software Development, DevOps, Digital Transformation, and Customer Value Management.
