My journey at the Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) remains one of the most defining phases of my life. I joined MIT in 1995 to pursue Mechanical Engineering, stepping away from home for the first time. The initial days were challenging, but the support of my professors and peers helped me adapt and grow in confidence. MIT’s greatest strength lies in building a solid foundation in engineering fundamentals. It taught me that true engineering is about understanding concepts, not memorizing them. The emphasis on basics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving continues to guide me even today in my professional journey. Beyond academics, MIT instilled discipline, responsibility, and a spirit of healthy competition. It shaped me into a confident engineer, ready to take on real-world challenges. If I were to sum up MIT in one word, it would be “Confidence” — the confidence to learn, adapt, and succeed.
