Bio
Prof. Dr. Shivprakash B. Barve is a Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. holder from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, Kolhapur. He completed his post-graduation in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering Karad and graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College Aurangabad with distinction. With areas of specialization in Materials, Composites, Nanocomposites, Manufacturing System, Renewable Energy Technologies, Power Generation, Waste Heat Recovery, Emission, Operations Research, Research Methodology, Applied Thermodynamics, Project Management, and Operations Research, he possesses exceptional skills and expertise. He has been honored with the MIT Ideal Teacher Award in September 2017 and elected as a Member of the Committee of the Institution of Engineers (India), Pune Local Center for the period of August 2021-July 2023. Dr. Barve has also served as a Member of the Board of Studies (BOS) for Mechanical Engineering at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune (2019-2021) and recognized as a PG Teacher and Ph.D. Guide in Mechanical Engineering by the same institution in 2017
- Elected as a Member of the Committee of ‘Institution of Engineers (India), Pune Local Center for the period of August 2021-July 2023.
- Worked as a Member of the Board of Studies (BOS), Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune (2019-2021).
- Recognized as a PG Teacher and Ph. D. Guide in Mechanical Engineering by Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune (2017)
