Bio

An Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Vivek Patel's research interests center around nonlinear structural analysis with a particular focus on studying the impact behavior of tubular components in the automobile industry. He is an expert in modeling and simulation of engineering parts using software such as AutoCAD, LS-Dyna, Ansys, and Abaqus. In addition, he has hands-on experience with experimental set-ups such as UTM, Hardness tester, and Ultrasonic assisted casting process. With his technical competency and expertise, he is capable of confirming the statistics of experimental tests with accuracy.
