At MIT-WPU's Department of Environmental Science, we're cultivating the next generation of sustainability champions. Our comprehensive M.Sc. and PhD programmes in Environmental Science and Sustainable Studies don't just teach theory—they inspire action, innovation, and real-world impact. Various courses offered under the Department of Biosciences and Technology, Department of Media and Communication, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences etc. strongly maps to the environment and sustainability.

MIT-WPU Career Development Centre (CDC)

The Career Development Centre (CDC) at MIT-WPU conducted a series of structured programmes across all Schools and Divisions to strengthen student employability, industry readiness, and global exposure.

  • AMCAT Employability Assessments: Conducted for all divisions, AMCAT evaluates aptitude, reasoning, communication, and domain knowledge, providing recruiter-recognised employability scores. Specialised modules for Law and Liberal Arts include Legal Aptitude and domain-specific tests.
  • Predictive Index & Cognitive Tests: Implemented for select Schools to assess behavioural and cognitive traits, supporting better teamwork, self-awareness, and hiring alignment.
  • Aptitude & Life Skills Training: Structured programmes focus on problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and professional etiquette. Tailored sessions prepare students across disciplines for placement challenges.
  • Company-Specific Training (CST): Industry-driven sessions that familiarise students with recruitment processes, technical requirements, and company culture, leading to higher placement success.
  • Placement Preparatory Bootcamps: Intensive short-term programmes on aptitude, communication, and domain skills simulate real placement processes and ensure industry readiness.
  • Master Classes & Higher Studies Initiatives: Expert-led sessions on UGC NET, higher education pathways, and global education fairs such as Achievers’ Dialogue, Eduxplore, and Global Education Fair connect students with international opportunities.
  • Infosys Springboard Pragati Programme: Enables students to gain digital, technical, and communication skills through certified self-paced learning.
  • AI-Based Mock Interviews (WorqHat): AI-driven interviews for Health Sciences and Science students offer instant feedback on communication, technical skills, and confidence.
