MIT-WPU’s state-of-the-art iOS Development Center, powered by Apple and Infosys, blends advanced technology, collaborative spaces, and industry-aligned curriculum to foster creativity, collaboration, and real-world experiential learning.
Access to Next-Generation Devices
The center is equipped with iMacs, offering one-to-one Mac access for every student along with iPhones, iPads, and iWatches for testing and development.
Collaborative Spaces
The Community Center is a vibrant hub for creativity and collaboration, with dedicated huddle rooms, fully equipped conference rooms, and open brainstorming areas.
Industry Aligned Curriculum
The curriculum emphasizes design thinking, iOS frameworks, and Swift programming, helping students develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and storytelling skills while building end-to-end product skills.
Internship
A two-semester specialization program with a 4-week onsite internship at Infosys Mysore Campus offers students exposure to industry workflows and agile project delivery, nurturing skilled iOS app developers ready for professional careers.

The iOS Student Developer Program is a comprehensive training curriculum designed to build industry-ready iOS app development skills. With 400+ hours of structured instruction, hands-on coding, and mentorship-driven learning, students develop the expertise needed to excel in the app economy. The program also provides real-world project experience and exclusive internship opportunities with Infosys.
This program is offered exclusively to 100 selected third-year B.Tech Computer Engineering students from the Department of Computer Engineering & Technology at MIT-WPU. Spanning two semesters, it also includes a four-week industry internship at Infosys. Applicants are expected to have basic programming knowledge and a keen interest in mobile application development. Prior experience with Swift or iOS is not required.
Students will develop proficiency in Swift programming, SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Data, and other key frameworks. They will also gain hands-on experience with Xcode, GitHub, and essential testing tools required for professional iOS development.
