B.Tech Electronics (Semiconductor & VLSI Design)

Programme Overview

The B.Tech in Electronics (Semiconductor and VLSI Design) at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) is designed to create industry-ready semiconductor professionals who will drive India’s journey toward technological self-reliance. The programme integrates core electronics engineering, semiconductor device physics, and VLSI design methodologies, aligned with the India Semiconductor Mission and global advancements in chip design and fabrication.

Students gain hands-on experience in chip design, verification, and embedded system development using industry-standard tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, and FPGA platforms. The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, industry collaboration, and research-driven projects, enabling students to solve real-world challenges in fabless design, semiconductor manufacturing, and AI-integrated electronics.

With India’s semiconductor market projected to grow from USD 52 billion in 2024–25 to USD 103.4 billion by 2030 (13% CAGR), MIT-WPU ensures its graduates are equipped with enhanced technical, analytical, and professional skills demanded by this rapidly expanding sector. Through industry internships, global collaborations, and advanced laboratory training, students emerge as competent, innovation-driven, and future-ready engineers ready to lead in the semiconductor and VLSI domain.
