National Academic Immersion Programme, SVNIT, Surat, Gujarat

The Civil Engineering Department of MIT-WPU organized a short-term study programme titled National Academic Immersion Programme at SVNIT, Surat from the 3rd to 14th July 2023 for students and faculties. The course titled 'Recent Advances in Civil Engineering (RACE'23)' was led by industry experts and renowned academics, which blended theoretical knowledge with practical applications, providing the students with invaluable insights into the future of civil engineering.

During the programme, the students engaged in interactive workshops, site visits, and practical exercises, gaining practical skills and deepening their understanding of green infrastructure, resilient design, and sustainable materials. The faculty members, too, benefited from the program, acquiring valuable knowledge to enrich their teaching and research endeavors.
