MIT-WPU at BSE: A Historic Celebration of Financial Awareness

The School of Business, MIT-WPU, Pune, was honoured to be invited to the prestigious Bell Ringing Ceremony at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) during World Investor Week 2025, commemorating 150 years of BSE’s remarkable legacy.

To commemorate this milestone, more than 1,000 students from the School of Business came together with BSE and Krisha Foundation to form a record-breaking Human Chain, spreading crucial awareness about preventing scams and financial frauds. This powerful initiative was telecast live from the BSE International Convention Hall in the presence of the Executive Director of SEBI, senior BSE officials, and leading figures from India’s financial community.

This student-led campaign will be featured in the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) report, to be circulated across 182 countries — a proud milestone for the University.

Through this inspiring collaboration, MIT-WPU, Pune reaffirms its commitment to developing ethically driven business leaders, advancing investor education, and promoting a secure, transparent, and responsible financial ecosystem.
