Dr. Veera Talukdar

Prof. (Dr.) Veera Talukdar is a distinguished academician and administrative leader with over 25 years of experience in higher education, academic governance, and institutional quality assurance. She is widely recognized for her expertise in strategic leadership, examination reforms, accreditation, policy development, and outcome-based education. A NAAC Assessor, AICTE Member, ACM Professional Member, and Quality Controller for the Government of India's SWAYAM/NPTEL platform, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening institutional governance, enhancing academic excellence, and driving quality assurance initiatives across higher education institutions.

Alongside her leadership roles, Dr. Talukdar has made significant contributions to interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, Healthcare Analytics, Commerce, Educational Technology, and Higher Education. With over 75 research publications, book chapters, and patents to her credit, she has authored numerous papers in reputed journals, conference proceedings, and academic books. She has also guided doctoral scholars and contributed extensively to curriculum development, research innovation, and technology-enabled teaching and learning practices.

Dr. Talukdar has been honoured with several prestigious accolades, including the Exemplary Academic Leader of the Year Award, the Teacher of the Year Award, and the Rajiv Gandhi Gold Medal in recognition of her outstanding contributions to education and academic leadership.
