Dr. Milind Pande

Dr. Milind Pande is the Pro Vice-Chancellor at MIT-WPU and is a seasoned academician with over twenty-five years of extensive experience.

He has actively engaged in global initiatives, including Technology Transfers, International Collaborations, and Faculty/Student exchange programmes. Dr. Pande is a recipient of a rare Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship from the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, focusing on Telecom Technology Transfer. He has been actively working towards realising the vision of former President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on the "Providing Urban Opportunities in Rural Areas" (PURA) project. His expertise lies in research areas such as Technology Transfers, M-Education, M-Agriculture, M-Health, Smart Sensing Networks, and ICT Innovations.

Dr. Pande holds two Doctorates (PhDs)- one in International Trade and the other in Wireless Technology. He holds a triple Master's degree- ME in Electronics, MBA in Marketing, and MPM in Personnel Management.

Dr. Milind Pande has co-authored a renowned textbook on Mobile Communications, titled "Next Generation Mobile Communications – Mobile, Infra Technology, Management, and Data," published by McGraw Hill Education. He has played a pivotal role in the development of the prestigious international event Robocon since its inception in India in 2005. At MITSOT, he has been instrumental in providing MOOCs (Massively Open Online Courses) and TSSC (Telecom Sector Skills Council) certifications to students.
