Dr. Vinod Shastri

Bio

Dr. Vinod Shastri has 40 years of diverse experience spanning entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, administration, training, teaching, finance, and production, but he is essentially an entrepreneurship educator at heart. Prior to joining MIT-WPU, he served as Dean of Student Affairs and Head of the Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Bennett University, and earlier as Deputy Director at Symbiosis. He successfully built an entrepreneurial culture at both universities. From co-founding a unique start-up to co-authoring the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Report, he belongs to the rare breed of educators who practice what they preach and is widely acknowledged as a culture builder par excellence.
