Dr. Vijayashri Machindra Gurme

Bio

Dr. Vijayashri Gurme is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Kothrud, Pune. She earned her PhD in Management from the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research, and Entrepreneurship Education, University of Mumbai. She holds an MBA in Computer Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, and has also completed a Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics from RISE WPU.

Dr. Gurme has over seven years of teaching experience and two years of industry experience in the IT sector. Her teaching portfolio includes subjects such as Business Analysis, Management Information Systems, Microsoft Excel, Advanced Excel for Management and IT Tools for Effective Management.

She has presented research papers at both national and international conferences and has published three book chapters with IGI Global in Scopus-indexed publications. In addition, she has authored research papers in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Gurme has also led Management Development Programmes (MDPs) on Basics of Computers, Basics of Excel, and Advanced Excel for both teaching and non-teaching staff at MIT World Peace University, Kothrud, Pune.
