Dr. Sushma Verma

Bio

Dr. Sushma Verma is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Business, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. She is an accomplished academician and result-oriented professional with over 17 years of experience in teaching and research.

She has an extensive publication record in reputed ABDC, Scopus, and Web of Science– indexed journals, including International Review of Economics and Finance, European Management Journal, Management Review Quarterly, and Benchmarking, among others. She has also presented her research at prestigious international conferences and has received several Best Paper Awards.

Dr. Verma is the author of books on Advanced Financial Management, Management Accounting and Financial Risk Management. Her research interests span multiple dimensions of corporate finance, with a strong emphasis on sustainability-related issues. An avid researcher, she takes keen interests in contemporary issues. In addition, she actively contributes to the academic and research community as an Associate Editor of MUDRA, published by Journal Press India. Passionate about academic excellence and research capacity building, she has also contributed as a resource person for several Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs).
