Bio
Dr. Sonal Muluk is an accomplished academician with over 16 years of experience in higher education. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Business, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune. Specializing in Marketing Management, she is widely recognized for her student-centric and application-oriented teaching methodology.
Dr. Muluk is also a recognized Ph.D. Research Supervisor, mentoring doctoral scholars in the field of Marketing Management. In addition, she guides postgraduate students in fieldwork, research projects, and practical application of business concepts.
Dr. Muluk has further enriched her teaching approach by completing the prestigious “Teaching with Cases: Engage, Energize, and Challenge Your Students” program at Harvard Business School, gaining global insights into effective case-based pedagogy and classroom engagement strategies.
Her academic contributions include the publication of over 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences, including Scopus-indexed and ABDC-listed outlets. She has authored several book chapters and contributed to edited volumes published by leading international publishers such as Springer, Taylor & Francis, and Paramount Publishing House, focusing on emerging themes in marketing, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation. Dr. Muluk has been honored with Best Paper Awards at two international conferences, recognizing her impactful contributions to academic research.
Her commitment to research and innovation is reflected in two published patents—one on a Holistic Mental Health Management System and another on Sustainable Urban Development. She continues to make meaningful contributions to academia and society through interdisciplinary research and academic leadership.
Dr. Muluk remains committed to nurturing future business leaders while advancing impactful, interdisciplinary research in marketing and sustainability.
