Bio

Sneha Bendre is a designer and heritage conservationist with extensive experience in teaching, building and urban heritage conservation, and design in heritage or low – cost context; and has also been a resource person for workshops on various architectural forums. As a teacher, mentor and guide at MIT – WPU, her goals are to help students recognize their true potential or interests in the vast field of architecture with multiple branches of study, aid or guide them in sharpening their individual skills and abilities; and prepare or train them to become valuable contributors to the industry.

B. Arch (2007) : Hindustan College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai

M. Arch (2010) : Master’s in architectural & Settlement Conservation, CEPT University, Ahmedabad

Teaching Experience : 9 Years of full – time teaching experience at architectural colleges in Pune at the undergraduate and postgraduate level such as Aayojan School of Architecture and Design and VIT’s PVP College of Architecture

Industry or Research Experience :
7 Years as an Architectural Consultant and Conservation Architect at ARTES, Human Settlements Development Centre, Chennai and KIMAYA, Pune

Member of PDA Intellects – a collaborative platform for sharing, engaging and questioning ideas that shape architecture and design, and inspiring discussions among peers on them through workshops, seminars, research, exhibitions and more.
