Dr. Shweta Devendra Shirolkar

Bio

Dr. Shweta Shirolkar is an Assistant Professor at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, with a research focus on Information Systems Adoption and Usage.

Her research interests span technology adoption and usage, the sharing economy, collaborative consumption, and technology in education management. She also specializes in Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Business Research, and Research Methodology.

Dr. Shirolkar brings over 16 years of professional experience, including 4.5 years in the commercial research industry and 12 years in academia. She has actively contributed to academic discourse through paper presentations at various national and international conferences.

Her scholarly work includes publications in Scopus-indexed, ABDC-listed, and UGC-CARE- approved journals. She has also contributed research papers to journals bearing both ISBN and ISSN identifiers. Additionally, she has authored a case study featured in the European Case Centre and ET Cases. She holds two published patents registered with the Government of India. and has also contributed a research paper to a journal bearing both ISBN and ISSN identifiers.

Dr. Shirolkar remains committed to advancing knowledge in her fields of interest and contributing to research and innovation in management education.
