Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at School of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune since last four years. Serving in MIT Pune Kothrud campus since July 2001.

A hard core teacher with 30 years of rich experience on several positions from Program Coordinator, Program Head, Head of Department, Deputy Controller of Examination to Associate Dean.

Published more than 30 Research Papers in reputed International Journals like IEEE, Scopus and Springer. Received Best International Research Paper award from Computer Society of India in April 2014. Published several books and e-books on Information Systems and Applications and book chapters in Springer Nature. Published Four Indian patents in March 2022 and March 2023.

Represented MIT institution for E-India, ICT award in 2010 as Best IT Enabled Business School. Received NIRMITEE Award for SDG 2023 under the category of Quality Education.

Instrumental in Industry collaborations and signed MoU with more than 15 multinational companies. Also initiated Academic Collaboration with Universities like University of Wisconsin, Park side USA and Indiana University Purdue University, IUPUI, USA.

Students centric approach and conducted several workshops and conferences for students at National level in association with IIT`s. Initiated National level students Research Conferences since 2019 to provide research platform for students.
