Bio

Dr. Shraddha Kulkarni is a passionate academician with a wealth of 17 years of experience in engineering teaching and research in Biotechnology. Her experience includes teaching interdisciplinary and application oriented courses like Fermentation Technology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biothermodynamics, Bioseparation Engineering, Bioreaction Engineering etc. She has always emphasized on experiential learning with hands-on training of the students to make them industry ready. she has worked for development of syllabus for B.Tech Biotechnology, NAAC and NBA accreditation of the programs, development of laboratory courses etc. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Kulkarni is deeply engaged in cutting-edge research endeavors. She has completed her Ph.D from Department of Technology, SPPU Pune. Her areas of expertise span across diverse domains within Bioengineering, encompassing fermentation technology, Bioprocess Design, proteomic technology, computational studies of biomolecules. Through her research, she endeavors to address the development of environmentally friendly surfactant products and their application in various fields. Committed to the advancement of her field, Dr. Kulkarni is an author, with numerous publications in esteemed journals and conferences. She has fetched research grants from agencies like Savitribai Phule Pune University, Institution of Engineers, etc. As an Assistant Professor at MIT World Peace University, Dr. Kulkarni embodies the institution's ethos of promoting peace through education and research. Her unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with her passion for fostering innovation, makes her a valued member of the academic community, dedicated to shaping the engineers of tomorrow and contributing to a brighter, more sustainable world.

Characterization and identification of proteins, Biointerface engineering and applications of surface active proteins with emphasis on development of drug delivery system for anticancer drugs, Computational studies of proteins to understand their behavior at interfaces, Bioprocess design for improved production of commercially important proteins
