Bio
Dr. Shantaram K. Dond is an accomplished Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune. He earned his PhD from the Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, where he conducted extensive full- time research at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Dr. Dond also holds an M. Tech in Power Systems from the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pune. His scholarly work focuses on electromagnetic forming, dissimilar metal joining, and Finite Element Method based Multiphysics numerical modelling utilizing advanced platforms such as COMSOL Multiphysics. A prolific researcher, he has authored over 15 papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Furthermore, Dr. Dond is an active contributor to the e-Mobility Centre of Excellence at MIT-WPU, where he leads specialized training programs and technical workshops.
