Bio
Dr. Shailesh Varade serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at MIT-WPU, where he focuses on bridging rigorous scientific thinking with practical application. Drawing from his research in soft matter, postdoctoral work at Paris- Saclay, and industry experience in cosmetic formulations, he emphasizes curiosity-driven learning that equips students with both analytical depth and industry readiness.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Varade brings insights from international postdoctoral research, space-based experiments, and industry formulation work to foster a culture of curiosity, rigour, and applied thinking among students. His efforts align with MIT-WPU’s vision of sustainable and inclusive transformation, nurturing professionals who lead by example and create meaningful societal impact.
