Bio
Dr. Savitri N. Jadhav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with over 18+ years of academic and research experience. She completed her Ph.D. from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2022. Handwritten MODI character recognition was her topic of research. Her research interests span Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), Embedded AI, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, and Edge AI. She has contributed extensively to interdisciplinary domains including UAV-based flood detection, anomaly detection using embedded AI, and intelligent agricultural systems. She has published numerous research papers in reputed journals and conferences and holds multiple Indian patents in areas such as crop damage assessment, non-invasive glucose monitoring, and UV-C disinfection systems. She is actively involved in consultancy projects with industry partners like KPIT Technologies and Bharat Flow Analytics, focusing on real-world AI and embedded system applications. A professional member of IEEE and associated with the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, she is committed to advancing research, innovation, and student mentorship in emerging technologies.
