Dr. Satish Chinchorkar

Bio

"Dr. Satish Chinchorkar brings with him a rich experience of 35 years in diverse industries, ranging from aircraft manufacturing to information technology. Prior to joining MIT-WPU, he was a full-time Professor at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, where he held an additional charge of CoE. He is a subject matter expert in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Software Engineering, and Quality Management.

Dr. Chinchorkar holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering, additional graduation from the Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering, an MBA in Systems, and a PhD in Operations/Production Management. He began his career with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and gained extensive experience of 14 years. Later, he worked in various IT corporates like Mastek, KPIT Systems, and Persistent Systems, in India and abroad.

Recently, he completed a seven-month certification course in AI and ML conducted by the Defense Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), which further enhances his knowledge and skills in his area of expertise."
