Dr. Sandeep Namdev Dhikale

Bio

Dr. Sandeep Dhikale, also known as Sandeepsagar, embodies a unique blend of traditional Gurukul and modern educational principles. Currently, he is rendering his service as an Assistant Professor of Peace Studies at the School of Business, and also as a coordinator of Centre for Sanskrit and IKS at MIT World Peace University, Pune.

Dr. Sandeep Dhikale received his foundational education through the traditional Gurukul system at Tattwajnyan Vidyapeeth, Thane, where he completed a rigorous seven-year course (2003–2010) in Indian Philosophy, Culture, and Sanskrit. He holds a Ph.D. in Sanskrit and Lexicography from the esteemed Deccan College Postgraduate and Research Institute (DTU), Pune.

His academic interests span across diverse fields including Sanskrit, Peace Studies, IKS, Indology, Meditation and Management. Dr. Sandeep has presented over 20 research papers at various international, national, and state level conferences.

He is the author/editor of 7 acclaimed books: ‘Understanding Peace’; ‘Dimensions of Peace’; ‘Indian Knowledge Systems: A Treasure Trove of the Way of Holistic and Sustainable Life’; ‘Aanandayatra’, ‘Bharatiya Jnyan Parampara’ and ‘Bharatiya JnyanSampada’. These works reflect his deep engagement with the themes of IKS, Peace, holistic living, and the rich heritage of Indian knowledge traditions. He has 3 patents on his name.

Dr. Sandeepsagar has also worked as a former Research Assistant at 'Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Vedavidya Pratishthan' Ujjain, where he conducted research on Vedashaka and Veda Pathan Paddhati. He also worked as a Research Assistant for the UGC Major Research Project - 'शुक्लयजुवेदीय-ग्रन्थानुसारी इष्टिप्रयोगः' at the Centre of Advanced Study in Sanskrit, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

Dr. Sandeepsagar considers himself a lifelong student of Sanskrit, IKS, Peace, Indology, Sahityashastra, and Meditation.
