Dr. Rohit Rajabhau Salgude

Bio

Dr. Rohit Salgude is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune, with over 14 years of academic experience. He is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic administration. He completed his Master’s degree in Construction and Management in 2011 and earned his Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering in 2022 from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Dr. Salgude teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and has published several research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. He is a recipient of two Best Paper Awards at international conferences and has served as a reviewer for various journals and conferences.

During his academic career, he has guided more than 35 postgraduate dissertations and is currently supervising two Ph.D. research scholars. Presently, he serves as the Alumni Coordinator and B. Tech Coordinator and is actively contributing to NAAC-related activities at the departmental level. He has also worked as a Co-Convener for the national-level NIRMITEE event and has coordinated several national-level immersion programs and industrial visits.
