Dr. Renuka Deshmukh

Bio

Dr Deshmukh holds a Ph.D. in Banking & Finance and PGDM in Business Analytics. She has over 21 years of experience with academic institutions as a core faculty member in finance and has passionately followed research in Fintech, Green Finance, Sustainability, Climate finance, Corporate governance, and emerging technology contributing towards low carbon development economy.

Around more than two decades of work in the field of management education, dispenses experience in teaching, higher education administration, business research, and extension activities.  As a faculty she has taught courses in Financial & Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Sustainable Finance, Research Methodology, Statistics and Quantitative Techniques. Over the years she has been able to develop skills in designing and conduct of academic programs, higher education faculty training and development, undertaking end-to- end corporate research projects, planning and organizing academic events and promote outreach through publications.

She has made notable intellectual contributions to reputed journals and academic conferences including IIMS & IITs. Dr Renuka has authored 10 books; published book chapters with reputed publishers like Taylor & Francis, Routledge, IGI Global USA, Emerald, Elsevier, LNNS Series etc.; filed 18 patents. Her research has been recognised through several honours, including awards for Outstanding Paper, International Excellence award, Life Time Achievement award, Research Excellence award etc. across diverse academic and institutional platforms.

In addition to her research pursuits, she serves on the editorial boards of leading journals and regularly reviews submissions, providing critical and constructive feedback. She has been serving as panel member of Doctoral Committee, BOS member of leading universities and as a PhD supervisor.
