Dr. Rajib Kumar Sinharay

Bio

A geophysicist with total 25 years of experiences in industry as well as research mainly in geophysical investigations, hydrocarbon exploration, engineering geophysics, deep crustal studies and Antarctic research. Having a MScTech and PhD degree in Applied Geophysics from IIT(ISM), Dhanbad, I have worked for Central Water and Power Research Station (CWPRS), Govt. of India, WesternGeco- Schlumberger (SLB) and Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). Presently working as a Professor in School of Petroleum Engineering, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MITWPU), Pune. My fields of researches are Petroleum Exploration and Production, Unconventional Hydrocarbon, Geothermal Exploration, Underground Carbon Sequestration (UCS), Machine Learning (ML), Mineral Exploration, Antarctic Geoscience and near surface geophysics. A passionate innovator, vigorous learner, motivated leader and critical thinker. Published more than 25 research paper in different peer-reviewed journals, books and conferences.
