Bio

I Kale R.D joined MIT Pune as faculty in 2005, starting out in the workshop (now the Central Workshop), where I served as Section Head of the Welding, Tinsmith, and Forging shop from 2005 to 2008. During this period, I taught second-year Mechanical and Sandwich students, covering Manufacturing, Engineering, and Metrology practicals, and also guided final-year projects. I was actively involved with Robocon and Accelracers (IIT Powai), and taught lecture courses for YCMOU from 2005 to 2008.

In 2008, I was appointed Technical Director of the International Robocon event held on campus, which brought together 140 teams from around the world (China won the trophy that year).

In 2010, I built the Engineering Workshop from the ground up for MITCOE college, under the guidance of Dr. Mangesh Karad Sir (EP, Loni Campus). I was transferred internally to MIT Polytechnic in 2012, where I was selected as Workshop Superintendent.
