Dr. Rahul Vishwanath Dandage

Bio
Dr. Rahul Vishwanath Dandage is an academician with over 21 years of teaching experience in the engineering and management education, including one semester as an International Faculty. He also brings 2.5 years of industrial experience, enriching his academic work with practical insights. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. S. S. Mantha, former Chairman of AICTE, New Delhi, along with an M.E. in Mechanical (Production) Engineering and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Currently he is pursuing One Year Duration Future Leadership Program in Supply Chain Management jointly conducted by IIM, Mumbai & Thunderbird School of Global Management, US. (Sept 2025- Aug 2026).
His core research interest lies in risk management in international projects, with several publications in reputed journals. He has published 5 research papers in Scopus-indexed journals (including 4 ABDC-indexed papers) and has presented 25 papers at national and international conferences. Dr. Dandage has also authored 2 books and 8 book chapters and has delivered 25+ expert sessions as a resource person in online and offline modes.
With more than six years of administrative leadership experience as Head of Department, Program Head, Program Director, and Head of Industry–Institute Interaction Cell, he has played a significant role in academic governance and industry engagement. He serves as a reviewer for leading international journals published by Emerald, Springer, InderScience, IGI Global, and Bentham Open (UAE), and is an active member of Boards of Studies at autonomous and university-affiliated institutions in India.
Qualification : B.E. Mechanical Engineering (University of Mumbai), M.E. Mech-Production Engineering (Shivaji University), Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering-Project Management (Mumbai University)
