Prof. Rachit Agarwal

Bio

Prof. Rachit Agarwal is an Assistant Professor at the Ramcharan School of Leadership, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune, with 8 years of teaching and research experience across leading universities in India. He is UGC-NET qualified and holds Ph.D. in FinTech, MBA (Finance), MA (Economics), and M. Com (Finance). He has also completed an Executive Development Programme in Financial Data Analytics from IIM Kashipur. Prof. Agarwal has authored and co-authored 30+ research papers and book chapters, including Scopus and ABDC indexed publications. He has presented research at many national and international conferences and received Best Paper Awards. He has served as Academic and Program Coordinator for multiple finance programs and led a Centre of Excellence focused on financial innovation and analytics. His expertise spans financial analysis, FinTech, investment behaviour, ESG, data analytics, and business intelligence, making him a strong academic professional. This aligns closely with MIT-WPU’s vision of developing value-driven, innovative leaders. He is deeply committed to mentoring students not only for career readiness but also to cultivate leadership, integrity, and social responsibility in a dynamic global environment.
