Bio

Dr. Prasanta Ghosh is an applied physicist with 16 years of research experience and 9 years of teaching experience. He conducts research in organic/inorganic functional nanomaterials, including organic Field Effect Transistors, inorganic/organic hybrids, and advanced sensors. Dr. Ghosh has published 47 research papers in SCI journals, conferences, and books, and has been granted 3 patents by South African Innovation Patent. He is an advisory board member of Materials Research Express and Nanotechnology, both peer-reviewed SCOPUS indexed journals. Dr. Ghosh has also received several awards, including the Top Peer Reviewer in Materials Science by Publons. Apart from his scientific work, he has also developed indigenous instruments and provides low-cost automation and instrumentation solutions for research and industry.
