Bio
Dr.Neha Agashe is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the School of Law, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune, India. She has completed her B.A from St. Xaviers College , Mumbai and M.A in Political Science from University of Pune. Dr. Agashe has completed her M.Phil and Ph.D from University of Pune in the area of International Relations. Her Ph.D is in Failed States and Issue of Maritime Security : A Case study of Somalia. Dr. Agashe has completed a Diploma in Human rights from NLSIU, Bangalore and a certificate course in Geo-politics from JRVGTI.
She has previously worked as the Head of the Department, Political Science in Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, as a Coordinator of PG Department in S.P College, Pune and as a visiting faculty in several reputed colleges such as ILS Law College, Symbiosis Law College among others. Dr.Agashe has also carried out surveys in collaboration with CDSA and UNICEF -Disaster Risk Reduction unit and for specialists working on FAO ( United Nations) project.
She has presented her papers in several international and national conferences, has been a resource person for several guest lectures, a reviewer and proof reader in Balbharati, Government of Maharashtra and has published articles in National and International journals.
