Bio

Ms. Mithila Shelar is an Assistant Professor at School of law, MIT- World Peace University.She is an alumnus of the University of Pune where she earned her LLM in Constitutional and Administrative law. She is currently enrolled as a Ph.D. scholar at Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur. Prior to joining academia, Ms. Mithila amassed extensive experience working as a consultant in the field of Indirect taxes and Corporate law. During this period, she advised a diverse range of clients ranging from multinationals, real estate developers and emerging entities. Furthermore, she represented her clients at tax tribunals across India and at the Department of Revenue, Ministry of finance. She possesses a comprehensive understanding of the complex regulatory landscape and policy matters governing indirect taxation.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Mithila has served as a visiting lecturer offering her understanding of the Arbitration, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and the Labour laws. Additionally she has also presented research papers in various National and International conferences.
