Bio

Mayuri Dabhi serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), where she specialises in Visual Communication Design. She holds a Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Visualisation from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. With over eight years of experience in both design education and the creative industry, she brings a well-rounded perspective that integrates academic rigour with hands-on industry practice. Her professional expertise spans Branding, Print and Digital Media, Typography, Semiotics, and Signage Systems, with her research interests focused on Indian Craft Typography and Co-branding. Mayuri brings a thoughtful balance of creative vision and structured project management to her teaching practice. This enables her to mentor students effectively, guiding their learning journeys while cultivating strong critical thinking and design skills.
