Bio

Dr. Mangesh V. Bedekar earned his Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from BITS Pilani, India, after completing his graduation from SSGMCE, Shegaon, and obtaining his Masters from BITS Pilani. He currently serves as the Professor & Dean, School of Computer Science & Engineering at MIT-WPU. Dr. Bedekar's research interests are focused on areas such as Web Data Mining, Web Personalization, User Interface Design, User Interface Improvements, Browser Customization, Affective Computing, and Information Visualization. Throughout his career, he has supervised numerous bachelors and masters students and has many national and international publications to his credit. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Bedekar is an outdoors enthusiast and a certified First-Aider who enjoys hiking and trekking regularly.
