Dr. Madhumita Mukherjee

Bio

Dr. Madhumita Mukherjee is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune in School of Business (SOB). Previously, she held the esteemed position of Director-Principal at the University School of Tourism, Airlines, and Hotel Management, Rayat Bahra University, Chandigarh, for Three and half years.

With a Ph.D. in Tourism Management and certification from the International Air Transport Association (Canada), Dr. Mukherjee boasts over 22 years of comprehensive experience in academia and the corporate sector. Her professional journey includes associations with renowned universities such as Jamia Millia Islamia (Delhi), Lovely Professional University (Punjab), and Amity University (Kolkata), and aviation sector like Air Sahara.

Dr. Mukherjee has made significant contributions to the fields of tourism, airlines, and hotel management through her publications in prestigious national and international journals including Scopus indexed Journals, as well as authorship of books. She has actively participated in numerous international conferences and summits, earning accolades and recognition, including awards at platforms like Edu Summit and NEP forums.
