Bio

Dr. Kishor Kolhe has more than 28.6 years of teaching and industry experience. His areas of interest are Network and Security, Cyber Security, Blockchain Technology, and Internet of Things. He has published more than 79 research papers in reputed journals and conferences. He has also guided more than 76 undergraduate students, 18 post graduate students.

1 Research Scholar: completed her PhD under his supervision and is presently guiding.

2 Ph.D. research scholars. He has also worked as Head, I.T. Department, System In-charge of Center for Professional Courses and Member of various committees.

He has reviewed research papers in national and international conferences and journals. He is a life member of CSI, ISTE and Fellow member of IETE etc. He has organized several conferences, workshops, seminars, Graduation Ceremony programs and short term training programmes etc.

He had been invited as session chair of National and International conferences. He participated in various innovative workshops on Education and Training.

Awards and Recognitions:

1) IISER Pune and MIT-World Peace University (MIT-WPU): Worked on a collaborative project which aims to use AI/ML to analyze and produce insights from the large amount of data generated by Earth Observation Systems such as satellites and reanalysis datasets. The first such project was aimed at collating and processing Land Surface Temperature (LST) data from satellites which will be used for generation of high-resolution maps of heat stress across South Asia. Completed the project along with 3 students. (Duration: from 01.07.2020 to 01.10.2020)

2) Improsys Technologies, Akurdi, Pune: Completed Consultancy and Development of prototype model for Production Monitoring System using IoT and Industry 4.0 standards for Improsys Technologies, Akurdi, Pune – 411035. (Project duration: 06.06.2019 to 31.08.2019)

3) Redington India Ltd., Pune: Completed Corporate Technology Training for Sales Force of Redington India Ltd.
