Bio

Mrs. Hemlata Sandip Ohal is an accomplished academician with over 26 years of teaching experience and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Polytechnic, Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. She holds an M.E. in Information Technology from the University of Pune and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune.

Mrs. Ohal has made notable contributions to technical education through research, innovation, and authorship. She has published 14 research papers in reputed Scopus-indexed journals and conference proceedings and has three Indian patents to her credit. She has also authored several textbooks for Diploma Engineering students, published by Nirali Prakashan. Her areas of expertise include Object-Oriented Programming, Computer Graphics, and Machine Learning.

A dedicated mentor, she actively guides students in project-based learning and innovation activities. Under her mentorship, students have secured several prizes and awards at various technical competitions and events.

Mrs. Ohal is a Life Member of ISTE and is actively involved in promoting holistic well-being through yoga. She is a certified Assistant Yoga Teacher from Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar (2020), and a certified Level-3 Yoga Teacher and Evaluator recognized by the Yoga Certification Board, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
