Mr. Harshit Pratap Singh

Bio

Harshit is an educator and designer, specializing in areas of research, graphic design, and film-making. He holds a UGC-NET qualification, and has completed an M.A. in Education from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and a Bachelor of Design from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Before joining the Department of Design at MIT World Peace University as an Assistant Professor, he has worked with multiple NGOs including Mantra4Change, Simple Education Foundation, Myna Mahila Foundation in varying capacities of researcher, designer, and educator.

He excels in weaving individual narratives with contextual research to design visual communication solutions that are thought-provoking and insightful. Having a keen interest in storytelling, his projects include multiple short films and books along with published papers and articles. He tries to encourage his students to think critically and analytically to design solutions that contribute to the upliftment of the marginalized, and the society at large.
